Agreco Farm, Crete | Greece
Elias and his team were brilliant. I really want to keep it at that but I can’t. Firstly, I’m a photographer so naturally, our wedding photos were amongst our highest priorities. I researched quite a bit and interviewed everyone via Skype. Its difficult to find someone you can connect to and trust when they are living halfway across the world (My wife and I are from Toronto, Canada and wedding was in Chania, Crete (Greece). Elias was calm, cool, professional, very accommodating, knows what he’s doing and saying, punctual, and so on. His rates are excellent and I found the value to be quite good. All in all, you won’t go wrong. He stayed well beyond his time allotted for our wedding (it was probably because we had quite the party and no one wanted it to end). Hope you enjoy his work as much as we did!
Marta & Sal
More and more couples think of getting married in Greece! Why not? Greece is full of picturesque locations and will provide you with a unique experience. Many beautiful and different islands to visit and have your honeynoon after your wedding. This time I had the chance to visit Crete. An island with rich history, amazing beaches, fantastic cuisine and a tradition of its own.
I remember the day Sal contacted me. His exact words were “As a photographer myself I must admit that photos are most important for me. Having seen your work and read reviews, I am very impressed.” How beautiful it is when someone appreciates your work! It is perhaps a cliche, but the pictures of your wedding day are the most important investment you make. Everything else fades away with time, but if you have pictures that captured the atmosphere and mood of your day, then you will remember it forever. Sal & Marta is not your regular couple. Sal is Persian, Marta Polish but they both live in Canada. They wanted to get married on the beautiful island of Crete in the Agreco farm, part of the Grecotel hotels & resorts. A picturesque little village of its own. I chatted with Sal on Skype after his inquiry but I got to meet them at the venue, a day before their wedding day. And what an open-hearted couple they are. They welcomed the whole team and explained all the details of how the day would roll out. They would have two wedding ceremonies, a civil wedding and then following a Persian wedding. Their guests had traveled from all around the world to be there. It was like a family gathering. The love and emotions their guests showed during both the ceremonies, made me emotional as well! The wedding party was so excited and happy that started dancing right after the Persian wedding ceremony finished. The party that followed the reception was so up beat that literally everyone danced…even the cleaning lady, and of course yours truly. Sal and Marta thank you for letting me be part of your special day! This coll wedding in Agreco was published on Junebug Weddings.
The next day we did a photo shoot in the old town of Chania, where Sal & Marta wanted to get lost in the small streets. A question I got asked a lot, was “are they a real couple or models?” Well, I guess the correct answer is both 🙂
