Lake Como is one of the best places to get married in Italy! It has been a popular retreat for aristocrats since the Roman times. Villa Pizzo is one of the most famous and sought-after wedding venues in Lake Como. It has one of the longest gardens along the lakeside and offers the perfect scenery for a charming and elegant wedding. Melanie and Robert, chose the beautiful Villa Pizzo to host their wedding celebration themed after Shakespeare’s “A midsummer night’s dream”! As you can imagine, Vanessa creative director of DeplanV, the wedding planner in Lake Como, put all her artistry and created a really magic and captivating decoration, full of flowers and special touches! Melanie who is a fashion shoe designer and knows how to impress people, chose to break the tradition and instead of wearing a white wedding dress, she looked stunning in her Elie Saab bridal couture dress!! Her veil was caring lyrics from the poem, how romantic is that? And to make all things magic, there was a midsummer thunderstorm later that night over the mountains surrounding Lake Como! A real-life fairytale! This wedding celebration was a private event and I can only share images of decoration.
